I applied for a loan of 15k online, and got a call saying I was approved and then they said I needed a 600 dollar deposit to "secure" the loan and then after I sent it they said I would have to send them another 900 bucks because the Canadian government and their tax system required more money. Beware of this company they are going as Eastpoint Mutual now 1-888-216-8069

- I just finalized a loan with this company. It was confusing, but was completed today.

- I apologize, I posted too soon. They do appear to be scammers!! My finalized loan is, "on hold" again and still no money. I will be submitting a complaint, too!

They got me for $725 for what they called "insurance" on the loan. Then call back after everything was supposed to be set and wanted another $625 b/c they "misgraded" my risk. Also that 888 went dark for awhile on Tuesday
