Jennifer responded to my add for music lessons for her daughter and booked a time and day to begin. She gave very detailed information of her supposed daughter and sent a check to my music studio before the lessons begun. She also mentioned the check would be more than my own fee's and requested that I give the remnant to her daughter's nanny who would be dropping her off at her lessons. I thought this would be done in person, but then she sent me the nanny's address to send it to which was across the country. So as soon as I got the check, I took it to my bank manager and asked if they could check if it was counterfeit. He could tell just by looking at it, that the signature was not valid. So I took it strait to the police station from there and filed a report. She tried sending the check through her "affiliated company" called Bell Industries Inc. Never deposit/cash checks from people you haven't met! If you get one, have it checked thoroughly first!
