For attending a 90 minute presentation of their company to promote their travel program (which we did not buy into) we were "awarded" a travel package of certificates for travel for air and cruise. However, before we could utilize the package we had to send in $4.95. In about 2 months we received vouchers for this travel and had to send in $100 to activate the airfare offer and $75 to activate the cruise offer. This money was to be sent as a money order or cashiers check and was non-refunable. After receiving an activation number, I went online and filled out the form for the cruise, but after not hearing from them for over 30 days I attempted to call them. It took nearly 2 hours to get through to them. In order to book the cruise, I was told I needed to pay port charges, taxes, an agency fee and a processing fee. All of this added up to several hundred dollars. This company is so misleading in the way they do business. There was NO reward for attending their tiresome and overwhelmingly pushy presentation. I was prepared to pay port charges and taxes, but all of the other charges were certainly excessive. When I complained to the person on the phone she said that this certificate is not for free travel, but discounted travel. This is not how it was presented to us. We are totally dissatisfied with this company and warn others to do their homework before they buy into such deception.
