Well I received a letter in the mail claiming I had won a sweepstake and with a check for $985.75 attached. That I had a Lump Sum payout for $9700.00. Since I have banking experience, I studied the check and it looked fishy to me. I did a little more research and came across this website, so thank goodness I went with my gut feeling and didn't cash it out.
