I received a call from a wierd number with 991-178 exchange. They said I qualified for a 7000 grant and that I needed to send 269 via western union for insurance to have such a large amount released. I asked why the federal government wouldnt simply issue a check and they gave me a bogus answer. Anyway, they said I had to pay this amount, then call them back and they would call the Federal Reserve Bank to have this money released to me. I asked for a website to confirm the validity of this grant and they gave me mygrantgovernment.com which is a grant finder program. I immediately got online and started looking for information to confirm this scam. I am glad users posted their complaints because I might have given this a try.
