I sent my CV to TeleportMyJob / www.teleportmyjob.com (stupidly) without checking its credibility. I found this name/link on an appealing ‘AdWords’ (which I clicked) while browsing for a new job in a serious website. Huge mistake. TeleportMyJob’s ‘consultants’ began to call and call again (up to 10-12 times per day) for few days, ‘offering services’ for a guaranteed job offer (for their 'calling procedure', see for exemple http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/2533639006/2). The same by e-mail. I indeed received ‘services offers’ like a CV review, and a promised series of ‘job offers’ (from other fake companies) likely in order to steal money and personal data. They asked me my credit card details, which of course I kept for myself. Browsing the web, I just realised that many people got scammed with these technics, some for even more than £2000.
Be careful then:
1) DO NOT send your CV to TeleportMyJob and connected companies (like Gulf CV Specialists, the Methuselah Group, Career Intelligence).
2) DO NOT give them your credit card details.
3) BLOCK immediately your credit card if you have done so.
4) INFORM immediately your bank and the police where applicable (in order to get a refund where possible).
