I weighed 40g of 9ct gold and checked online for the best prices. London gold refiners quoted £428.00. I sent it off and received a phone call offering £200.00. I asked for the gold to be sent back. 10 days later I still had not received it and was told they did not have enough parcels at this time to give to the courier to return it. I ended up accepting £240.00 for it as I was given the impression that they would hold onto it for ever.
