friend at retirement community received two checks two days in a row from supposed lottery agency including a check. I called the number on the letter, 1-647-707-4122 and reached a man named Jeremy Mason. he said to deposit the check and call him back. I called the bank and the account is valid. So I called the company on which the check is drawn which is a shipping company with no help there. they want you to deposit the check and send them $2500 of it. big scam. Trash it.
