I ordered a couple of perfume samples from this website back in December 2011, which I purchased as a one-off occurrence. I only received about 4 spray samples (ones that I did not even select).

Since then, I have received several monthly charges from Blueberry Corporation, which were between $12-16, up until present.

I was under the impression that these were, as stated, 'Perfumes for a Buck'. I only just had a good look at my credit card statements recently and noticed this usual charge every single month for 21 months! Why was it that I am still paying for these perfume samples each month?

I locally reside in Sydney, Australia and since these monthly charges are in USD, I am actually charged the conversion fee, which is more than the original (>$12.99). For example, the monthly charge, as shown on my credit statement would be $12.99USD, so the actual conversion charge is $13.44AUD.

I have emailed the Blueberry Corporation about this matter last July (2 months ago) and have asked them to cancel all these monthly charges and credit back all that is owing to me.

Their first reply was that they apologise and will cancel my 'membership'. I never asked for a membership in the first place! There was also nothing that said if I purchased perfumes from them that I was automatically a member!

I would like their company to be exposed for the SCAM that it is and for my money to be credited back to me.

The company's initial reply:
"I have reviewed your account associated with your email address and have canceled your club membership... You will receive no future charges to your card."
NOTE: THEY ARE STILL CHARGING ME EVEN AFTER THIS EMAIL!!

  • So do you know anyways that is possible to get back the money?
    Because I think I am in the same situation as you do and after I read their term of use it did said we will automatically become a member so...is it just our fault for not reading the Term of use?
