I was approched by NLA to help with a modification of my Mortgage in November 2012, I was told I needed to have 3 payments of 967.00 before I they could work with me and that I should stop paying my mortgage to Wells Fargo Bank. I did what they requested, they withdrew the money in Nov, Jan and Feb. I was in contact with several people, supposedly everything was almost done and then the modification was cancelled by them. I was told that it was a mistake and it would be corrected. This was in Feb 2013. I had not heard anything in a while and tried to contact them but all phones had been disconnected and their website said that they had been closed due to court order for removal of funds. I am not out of the 2901.00 that I put in to have the modification compeleted. I have been working with Wells Fargo and has taken me almost a year for the modification to be comepleted. I have not heard anything about NLA since then.
