I was selling my old wedding rings on craigslist and was contacted by a man who said he was purchasing them for his son. He sent fake paypal emails as well so it looked like it was legit. I sent the rings out last week and they left the country on friday. As it turns out paypal had no idea what was going on and the whole thing was a complete setup.

- "He sent fake paypal emails" - What?? You didn't go into your Paypal account to verify the money was actually deposited? I would suggest you not do your transacting via the Internet until you learn what you're doing.
