i was lured into the penny bid. i bought the 115 bids for $69. I played the game on a couple of occasions on just small items. but waiting till the last few seconds or using the bid buddy to make a bid. losing most every time except once on an angry birds slingshot. so everything i bid on, i was losing $0.44 every time i placed a penny bid. Then on the occasion where i won the angry birds slingshot, i might have placed 10 to 15 bids, then had to turn around and pay the dollar amount for that item. after buying bids and winning an item i was ticked to know i had to pay even more. I agree that even though an item sells for say $122, you take and figure out all the bids on that and dealfun is making in the thousands on one item.

  • I am not familiar with this method of commerce. Is this something they are now teaching in the college business schools? Perhaps you should treat this like a lessons learned so you don't really get taken in the future in some other sophisticated shell game. The psychopaths who came up with this weird concept must be related to the folks on Wall Street that engineer market derivatives. Rather looking for bargains you should invest in going back to school so you can recognize this type of calculus. These folks target these schemes to folks like yourself. The only culpable party is your ignorance. You want to put these type of folks out of business, educate yourself and don't get sucked into this stupidity.

  • and i am not familiar with this type of remark. So you just follow people around and tell them how badly they effed up as if they didn't already get the picture? "Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me" I was one of many just letting it known that this isn't a good thing. apparently it's happened to you, or you wouldn't have been here yourself. go play with your penny stocks and shut the "F" up!

  • Did I strike a nerve? What you classify as "False Advertising" is nothing more than a checker player entering a chess match. I never played with "penny stocks" any more than I would pick up a viper. I don't need to experience falling off a cliff to know it could be harmful to my health. Let us know next time you're ready to fall into a hole so we can hold your money for you.
