I stumbled across this company called Market Technologies, they offered an 80% accurate forecast of the financial markets. I requested some info from them and before I knew it my phone was being flooded with phone calls from this company by at least 5 different sales representatives. I had to keep telling them that I was already in contact with a rep from the company. The Representative claimed that if I just followed the blue and black lines that I would be 80% accurate at predicting the markets, He must have called me every 2 days for over a month hounding me every day to change my life and become a full time investor. I told him I didnt have that much capital to invest not even enough to pay for the program. He insisted I put it on a credit card risk free with a 15 day trial, at the end of the 15 days I would have to pay 500 us dollars to get a refund on the initial 3,600.00 usd I payed plus the 300 to get a data feed. He told me that if I had the information from the software they offered I would recoup this price very easy. I was still skeptical and I didn't have the money to risk in the first place, so the sales rep insisted I call some of their customers that are already using the software. So he gave me 2 numbers to call, I called both and both clients stated that they put the software on a credit card and have made 100,000k or more using the software. They also told me I would not have to worry about a refund because the software is that good. Well little did I know after purchasing the software, being a very unexpeirenced trader, that I could receive the same info i payed 3900.00 usd for for free using a charting service through one of my brokers. This company uses some of the most aggressive and unfair sales tactics you could think off, they pawn what they cant legally tell you off to a customer that uses the software. I wonder what they pay these customers to talk to possible new clients? After I realized what happened and how this company conducts there business I called them saying I was very unpleased with the software and the service it provides, I actually lossed money using the so called 80% accurate forcast. I told them I wanted a return because I was falsely mislead about the software, they said I will never get a refund and I am a grown man that makes his own decisions. They were very rude to me on the phone and offered no help to my problems. There software is a scam, it is not 80 % accurate these are bogus claims that are simply put a lie. My sales rep was named Brian and he no longer works for the company. I bought this software in july of 07. They still will not give me a refund to this day and thats why I am filling a complaint. They use unlawful sales tactics that come close to harassment and they make false claims about the accuracy of the software. Before i purchased the software I couldn't get them to leave me alone, but once i purchased it I never heard from them again!!! They even told me they would be checking in with me to help me with the software. Beware of Greg Firman and Mr. J. Wealth in this forum, they secretly work for the company and help sell customers. I was giving there phone numbers before I purchased vp. Since they dont directly work for the company they can easily tell you things the sales rep cant legally tell you. Thats what sold me was these 2 con artists. Dont be stupid like the rest of us in here and buy this software. They use sales tactics that are sooo aggressive, If there product was actually 80% right they would not need to have such aggressive sales practices. Vantage point likes to take advantage of the person who is new to the financial markets, or inexperienced. Its very hard to get your money back, I am fighting them through the BBB-Better Business Buereu right now. I suggest everyone in here who has been taken advantage of please send in a complaint to the BBB they have only been a member for a few years and have resolved 8 out of the 10 complaints. The BB did not resolve the case and has now pushed my complaint under the rug, it used to be there on the bbb website but they have taken it down!
