Lancashire Interior Home Designs trades under multiple different names including Kitchen Uber, Rossendale Interiors etc.

When you place an order with them, it is not very clear which company you are actually contracting with. The number on the invoice takes you to a phone line, which is answered with a different company greeting each time.
The email on the invoice does not work, I have received a bounce back from the server.

I had a kitchen design visit, and as the story goes..I was tempted by the offer of £3000 for an entire kitchen refit. I paid a £100 deposit to place the order. However it wasn't till I read all the overwhelmingly shocking reviews I decided that it would be unwise to proceed.

Following my rights (as clearly stated on the order sheet) - I emailed them a copy of the order with my signed instructions to cancel. However I have received a bounce back of the email, so clearly the email is bogus!

I then proceeded with calling customer service which claimed that it doesn't deal with cancellations. They gave me a number to call, however the phone has been ringing but with no one picking it up ever. I rang customer service again to raise my concerns and voice my cancellation - this time the excuse was that the number provided was temporarily suspended!!
Customer service then adviced that I should get my £100 deposit back as the cancellation was within 7 days, and that I should automatically receive a cheque.

This is obviously all bogus advice as #1 - the cancellation email did not go through, #2 - the agent did not take my full name or any sort of details.

I can only say that this has been a silly expensive mistake, but better a £100 loss that all the ensuing headache.

I would warn EVERYONE against this company and a cheap deal that sounds too good to be true. I get that you may not get the full suite of retail service since they market themself as a "wholesaler" - however the fact is that this company does not appear to have any legitimate sales / customer service or processes.
