I filled out a form on the Internet for a small business grant in august 2011. A few weeks later I was contacted by mark stroll who stated he was from a grant office in Washington dc. He instructed me liberty capital group near Dallas Texas would be the place to get a licensed grant writer. I called and left a message at liberty capital group and was later called back by Steven McDaniel. After a few conversations with McDaniel he told me I needed to get a cashier's check made payable to rachell Francis and mail it to 3131 McKinney ave ste 600 in Dallas TX. Well me and my family are really struggling and I thought this was the break I had hoped for. So my stupid ass sent the $480 and now the numbers for stroll and McDaniel are no longer working. Neither is the number to liberty capital group I was given by stroll. I'm sure liberty capital group would like to know people like this were using their company name for this scam. If anyone reading this can get in touch with the real capital group you can have them contact me at 337-368-3521 or [email protected] my name is Rex Carter from the New Orleans, LA area. When I do get back on my feet and have the funds to I plan on a trip to Dallas to the address I mailed my money, all these scammers did was put more of a financial burden on me and my family, my three kids have already missed out on outings with friends just because of this $480 I sent to Dallas. These people have to pay for what they are doing to people.
