Online I was browsing for affordable kitchen and found a company named Lancashire home designs , and i was drawn towards their advertising pictures at very good price , I rang them up telling them I was intrested so they sent a rep to draw up two kitchens I thought these were reasonable so we decided to purchase them if we paid a 300 pound deposit their and there in cash the deal would be made .we rang them up telling them were ready for the kitchens to be delivered it arrived thinking these are going to be great then when we opened the boxes it was shock to see damages on the side of units and rough finishes throughout the 2 Kitchens parts were missing we were one worktop less .
we phoned them telling them the problem they told up to wait up to 21 days for replacement my fitters couldn't wait that long there were other customers he had to serve and he couldn't do any other the kitchens in place so he fitted them in but we had to buy extras .
I sent them a letter stating I would like some compainsation due to sales goods act 1979 telling them to replay to me within 14 days.
3 weeks later I received a call saying they were willing to replace the damaged units but no refunds can be given.i said i wanted some refund back because the kitchens were already fitted so instead of replacentment i wanted so compansation back
