Selling a high dollar laptop on Craigslist, the person contacted me on text message from 631-627-1781 claiming to be Helen Patrick and wanting to purchase the item for her son in New Mexico - offering above asking price plus shipping. As expected (see http://craigslistpostingsecrets.wordpress.com/pay-pal-scam/) she claimed to have made the PayPal payment, and the (excellent fakes) confirmation emails arrived from "PayPal" (email from "[email protected] but with address <[email protected]>). One of the emails stated the money would be released within 24 hours of shipping confirmation. Naturally that is not how Paypal works either. Definitely yet another scammer.

- Thank you...almost tried to SCAM my son..but they have since moved to Quebec LOL...I have reported them to the Local Fraud Authorities....

- Tried to scam for a shipment to Montreal,QC. so not fall for this, it's a SCAM!!!!
