I was looking for a job on Craigslist and Volt Database Solutions appeared. I applied and they replied back, asking me some very basic questions. They offered to pay me $17/hr, but wanted to put me through a 'test of trust' that they would send me a check and I should deposit it in my bank account until it 'cleared'. This was very suspicious, so I had people who specialize in fraud investigate it; and sure enough, they were operating somewhere in Africa. Luckily, I found out before any real damage was done- so far.

They also never talked to me in person. Just email and yahoo messenger. The person went by the name of Mr. Martin Sylvester. They had me post jobs on Craigslist for Volt Data Solutions. Do not answer them!

Received a check in the mail today. Why would they do that if I only worked for them for a day?
