Met Scott Campbell, CEO of BDO Records on Internet Dating site. While he seemed like he cared about my well being, I found later that he was more interested in making getting me to invest in his company. An investment that unless I did everything he asked me to do, I would never get back.

  • I guess we all met the same guy, charming, caring but a great salesman. I felt the same as Iretrievers but something just didn't add up. He was very curious about me and my life but wasn't forthcomming about his life but was very focused on his wealth and making me rich.

  • To lretrievers - I met Scott Campbell at a bar. Withing 15 minutes of our meeting, I was anxious to invest in his company. He guarenteed nothing, instead he was upfront and honest with me about the direction of the company, and what it took to get there. I have invested over $100,000 in time and efforts to lauch this company.Ms. Lucille Walker, you invested $30,000 in the company, by directly depositing the money in the bank account. It is very apparent that you are a negative, insecure woman. Your false statements have cost this company, and me directly! Who cares where you meet someone? Scott is a man of integrity, and since he was not interested in getting in your pants, you have chosen to use this coward's way of defaming him and his company. How do you expect to get a return on your venture capital investment if you continue to try to bring him down? Pretty stupid idea. You will not succeed in your efforts, as there are more people in this world that know Scott Campbell, know his character is impecable, and stand by him and his efforts to further his company. He is tackling the American Idol and the X-Factor. These things take time to build, and we are well underway to achieving our goals. Lucille, get a life of your own.

    To youredreaming, the check you stopped payment on was NOT for an investment in the company, but rather for hired services. It is a felony to fraudenly write a check, and as such, are subject to imprisonment, and triple damages if this goes to court. You are the fraud! Scott helped you finish your dissertation, and now again, because he is not interested in you sexually, you are just a scorned woman. Mary McCartney, you need to pay Scott back for the money you owe!

But what goes around, comes around, and those negative, jealous people will never succeed in life!   • I have known Scott for over eight years and in that time I have NEVER known him to lie, cheat, or steal. I invested in BDO within days of meeting him. I have NEVER doubted Scott’s integrity or loyalty! Scott is more concerned with helping others than helping himself. He is the most honest, trustworthy person that I have EVER met. If there were more people in this world like him, we wouldn’t need websites like these. I am extremely disappointed that you women have taken it upon yourselves to attack Scott in this way. Not only have you attacked him, you have attacked all of his investors, friends, and family. You negative, unprofessional women have only hurt and deceived yourselves because you will never have a chance of ever truly understanding what a wonderful, focused, and determined person Scott is.   • To anyone this may apply to,

    I am also an investor in Mr. Scott Campbell's corporation, but I am a different type of investor; I have invested close to 4 years (and counting) of my time. Time that I will never look back on and was very well spent! I have worked day in an day out and side by side with this man.  For the record, I have traveled on our tour bus to several cities and states collecting a database of people in preparation for our launch. Mr. Campbell is a very dedicated, smart business man, and he knows the business well. He has introduced me to celebrities that you only wish to one day meet, and powers that be that make everything happen in our industry. I thank Mr. Campbell on a regular basis for allowing me this opportunity to make sure myself and my family will always be taken care of.  Mr. Campbell has and always will be very straight forward with everyone in his life, especially the investors in his corporation. 

    An investment is exactly what it is, an investment... You honestly didn't think you would be able to drop $30,000 into an account and magically make an ROI. Did you? This company takes time and a lot of energy to get established, but let it be known , we are well under-way to the goals we have set for ourselves. 

    Mr. Campbell is the most integral and loyal person you will probably ever meet. This is appalling to me to know you ladies are able to so easily defamate Scott Campbell and BDO Records character and name.

  • Just meet someone on the internet dating that asks you to invest in their company shortly after meeting? Think again. Not wise at all. You may not want to do it. No matter how mad the person gets or how intimidating this person may be. This person may rant and rave, scream and holler but think things out very carefully. Hang on to your 401K It might not be making much but it's better than losing it by making a venture capital investment.

  • It amazes me that you people continue to spew these lies about Scott Campbell and BDO Records. I know for a fact the company is a real, fuctioning company. I also know for a fact that Scott Campbell is NOT only after your money. He has however shared information on this company, and since he was not interested in getting into your pants, this is how you show your insecurities and bitterness. Please get on with your life, and leave Scott, and his company alone! God knows the truth, and will continue to bless Scott, and BDO Records with friends and success!

  • If you make a mistake in your life, who is responsible? You are! As a grown adult you had the "option" to invest in BDO Records or you could have kept your money and walked away. After deciding to make the initial investment to then get cold feet and demand your money back is unreasonable to say the least.

    When someone is building a company they need capital (Business 101). They look for that in many different places and forms. Today social media is just one of those avenues.

    If you didn't know enough about when you may or may not get your investment back, YOU should have not decided to take the "risk".

    So now you think the answer is to slander a man and his privately held company? What sense does that make? Your investment was to be used to help make the company a reality, a success so you could benefit along with the other investors.

    I am an investor as well and it troubles me that you have no more regard for others than you are displaying by these harsh words. Scott and his team have a vision and a plan to execute against and work tirelessly to make it happen. Things like this just cause further delays and setbacks.

    Most investors in companies don't get to tell the CEO when they want their money, or when they believe the company should turn a profit. You have to know enough about what you invested in and whom you trusted to leave it alone and be supportive so that it can give us all a return on our investments.

    Before you continue to tell half truths about a hard working, driven entrepreneur (and yes, he is a marketer) you need to take responsibility for your own decisions and realize that nothing ever good comes from attacks of this type.

    One thing I know about Scott, he does not make promises, he doesn't "make" you do anything you don't want to do. I can't wait to see his dream become a reality and plan on being right there behind in the background thanking him all the way to MY bank!

    To future investors - be sure you realize that people have their own agendas and reasons for slandering folks and that not all of us feel the same way about our investment. Some of us are excited every day to have been given the opportunity to even play a small part in something that will be a SUCCESS!

  • Campbell contacted me directly on a popular internet dating site. He comes off charming and caring at first, but this is part of this assholes agenda. He is trolling several internet dating sites with the sole purpose of tricking innocent women into withdrawing large portions of their retirement accounts and giving to him which they will never see again. Very sick and this jerk needs to be stopped now!!!

  • I met Scott Campbell 7 years ago at an airport and me and my dad invested in his company. Ms. Lucille Walker, how dare you put these messages on the internet about him just because he did not want to date you. In all these years he has never changed his phone number or address so for you to say that he dissapeared is not right. You have his phonenumber but just because he does not want to be intimate with you you post these lies.He's building a company and as long as people like you keep posting these lies he cannot move forward and you will not make any money out of your investment. I've seen what he's building and from day 1 he has been honest about the problems he has had and he has been honest about these things with you too. The fact that you met him on a dating site has no meaning since he meets people everywhere. He met investors at restaurants, airport, datingsites, bars and shopping malls. As long as you keep doing this and are taking his mind of the important things ( building the business ) it will only take longer for him to give any return on your investment.
    So stop this nonsense and let him build.

  • I can't believe Scott Campbell of Bogus BDO Records isn't behind Florida Bars by now with other prisoners enjoying him as fresh meat. debster- Ms. Walker knows how lucky she is to NOT be dating this very bad excuse for a man! She is trying to get due justice for the wrongs he has done to her and other people he has stolen from. tango007-that "boat" and all the home theatre, furnishings, etc. in that house in Kissimee (yes I know the one because I was there!) should be siezed, sold and the money returned to the women he scammed. Yes I saw how nervous and distracted he acted on our second and last "date" at Universal CityWalk. Good!! He should be and then some because he knows what a low life loser scumbag he his. My story is: I am a high school science teacher in NY State and I was recruited to teach Chemistry in a poor performing public high school in St. Petersburg in 2011 because they can't find anyone locally intelligent enough to qualify. While down there I foolishly thought I'd try out the dating scene in Central Florida as well-it was horrible and meeting Mr.Campbell on Match.com was the icing on the cake that made me "run, not walk" back to my wonderful home here in Central New York. (No-Dr.Phil -I would not recommend Match to any woman) To Lucille- I am keeping my fingers crossed sweetie that you nail this SOB for everything he has. It was my pleasure to call that Financial crimes department in Florida before I moved back home and tell them what he tried to get from me unsuccessfully. (Yeah like I would hand over half my retirement account to some Jewish asshole in Florida- I tell everyone I can up here about this and they are shocked but not surprised) Just now watching Celebrity Apprentice At Universal Studios compelled me to write this as he took me to the movie theatre there on our first "date" and "Hemingway" bar in Citywalk the second and last. As a Place for Famililes to come back to will someone down there in Florida please do something!!!!

  • Look under FDLE Warrants (Florida Department of Law Enforcement)type in his name "Scott Gregory Campbell" and you will see that there is a warrant out for his arrest for Larceny...This is THE Scott Campbell...president and CEO of BDO Records.

  • In the almost 10 years that I have known Scott, he has never scammed anyone. Scott is open and honest with all aspects of building his company. If people do not understand the meaning of venture capital investing, please look it up immediately. I am one of BDO Records investors. There are always obstacles when building a company from the ground up. We all have free will and it was your choice to invest in Scott and his company. I have never regretted my choice. I believe in Scott and BDO Records as much today as I did the day I made my choice to invest. I have made no "adjustments" in my lifestyle. The negative comments and opinions of others have never weaken Scott's focus and determination. There is no denial about Scott's character. He is a man of honesty, loyalty, and integrity.

  • Well apparently others don't feel the way that you do Chrystal....The bottom line is that this honest, loyal man of integrity has an outstanding warrant for his arrest as listed by FDLE for Larceny so, those of you who want to look up the definition of Venture Capital investor you may also want to look up the definition of larceny while your at it.

  • I also met Scott Campbell CEO of BDO on an internet dating site. Scott was upfront about what he was trying to build. He even stated that I did not have to be his "lady". In every situation I have interacted with Scott he has been straight forward. I "chose" not to invest with Scott and his company. I have known Scott for 3 years now and we remain friends to this day.

  • hmmm....is right. He made bail on 6/14/2013 after bail was reduced to $250,000 from $500,000. I would think with all his millions, he should have been able to come up with $500,000 quite easily.

  • Trial started in Osceola County, Florida on 12/1/2014. He was found guilty of Grand Larceny in the First Degree. He is at the Osceola County Jail waiting to be sentenced.
