I actually purchased on-line a '14-Day Free Trial" of both the MH3's Nject & Ndulge serums on 7/14/13 and only needed to pay for the shipping which was $4.95 & $3.95 for these 2 items. Unlike other companies in this industry, Miracle Hydrate's 14-day trial actually starts on the day you actually ordered it. Not when you receive it. (This information was not on their website, nor was this stated in any of the corresponce sent with the product when it arrived.)
I received these products on 7/19/13 after coming home from work. I immediately counted out 14 days on my calendar, but marked my calendar for the 10th day, TODAY-7/29/13, so I could call them IF I saw no changes in what they claimed their product could do.
I called them to cancel my 14-day trial and make sure I wasn't going to be charged or receive any further product and was told that my 14-day trail period ended on 7/22/13. I asked the lady 'how can you offer a 14-day trial period to customers when it takes your company about 5 days to actually get the products deleivered?" She stated that this information was written on their website and also emailed to me with the confirmation process. I went back to my email confirmation and there is NOTHING stating this.
I then asked her for a refund of the new charges on my Visa for a total of $169.90 (89.95 & 79.95). I was informed that since I didn't call them within my 14-day trial, they would be unable to refund. She then offered to send me a different product 'free' of all charges. I told her 'No, I don't want anything from your company but 2 RMA#'s so I could return these products back for a refund' She stated there was no need to send back the product, since my account was already charged for the items.
I then insisted on the Return #'s and stated that I was also going to contact the BBB about their fraudulent actions.
She then stated she could give me an 'employee discount' for future products and enroll me in their lifetime membership. I couldn't believe my ears on that, so I asked her if she actually understood that what I wanted was a refund on what they just charged, I want to return the product and that I did not wish to receive ANYTHING from their company again. I finally got my RMA#'s both verbally and then confirmed in an email.
I will be returning the products and I definitely will call the BBB. I tried calling my bank to put a hold on these charges, but their company beat me by a day...already charged. Will call the bank and make a claim.
I have tried other products from other companies over the years and NONE of them used the Order Date as the start date for your trial period.
