I answered this ad for an personal assistant on Craigslist, Atlanta. The person contacted me almost immediately stating it was a work from home position with no experience required and great pay. The English was somewhat broken. Those were my first clues. Second clue was when she began to ask what computer equipment I had, what my address was, and if I wanted to be paid by direct deposit. When I asked her to verify her own identity via a website, Linked In profile, or Facebook, she never replied. My guess is that she intended to either run a check scam or rob my house. The latter would have been a surprise due to our two large protective dogs.

Part Time Assistant
We are looking for an all around office assistant. This is a year round position. You must be computer literate and able to pick up new programs quickly. You will deal with customers on the phone and face to face so you must have a pleasant personality. You will be required to perform all normal office functions such as mailing, computer work, and filling. You will be required to keep your office area clean. This is a sales office so you will occasionally give out info to perspective clients. You must have a clean professional appearance, be able to pass a background check, and have dependable transportation.

The hours have not yet been set, but it will be a 20-24 hour daytime work week. Either five 4 hour days or three 8 hour days. Some Saturdays are required but are only half days at this point.
