I met Joe Williams on christian mingle and he appeared to be a great christian guy. His wife died 10 years ago of pancreatic and he had a 26 year old daughter. He was born in Switzerland and had lived in United States for 15 years. We emailed on christian mingle site for a week and then we started emailing on our personal email. We became good friends and he always talked about his christian faith and how important that was to him. He went to Mexico a week after we met. He had a contract to hook up a hospital's electronic medical records system. He had a master's degree in IT and he did contracts locally and around the world. While there a bunch of things happened...first he got all his money stolen at the job site to do the job. Then he got sick and had to be in the hospital for a few days. Then he finally got the job done and was trying to come home the Mexican government confiscated all his money from the job because he forgot to declare that he was bringing in more than $10,000. There was also something about the bank needing $15,000 to have a non-residential account. He sent me paperwork from there that looked official. Everytime something happened he needed money to help solve that problem, then he would be on his way home and we would live happily ever after. Then another disaster would happen and we would need more money, but I should be patient with him because he loved me more than life and he was worth my wait. He was a very good talker and said so many wonderful poetic things to me and about me and made me feel special and loved. He promised me his heart, his life, his money and everything he had would be ours together. He always promised to pay me back from the money he made doing this job. I sent him $13,000 over a months time. Then he got real sick, was in a coma, and finally got better enough to come home but he needed another $3300 to get the bill paid so he could get on the plane and come home to me. I told him I didn't have it, but he kept begging me and saying we would finally be together. I told him I couldn't send anymore and he hasn't emailed me or called me since. I feel like a fool and he has devastated me financially and emotionally. I trusted him and believed him but now I'm left broke.
