Purchased 2 Salvador Dali prints. Told they were plate signed and had higher appraisal than purchased price. Got home and took back off on e of the cheap wooden frames (brown kraft paper on back of frame) looked at watermark on paper and embossed mark and realized that watermark on paper could not match an authentic Dali Print. Both same. Actual value about %50.00 each for print and maybe $50 for each frame.
Auctioneer would not start bidding at less than $500 each, insisting that they were authetic.
