I was contacted by Steve Turner on April 23, 2013 who sold me the original $99.00 "package" where I would have mentoring to set up a website which could make upwards of $1200.00 per month and they would handle the startup and web site support. My mentor was Gregory Samuels who was late in calling for his appointment, when he called it was not to help me set up my own business but to sell me on a package where North Point Web mall would set up a website and provide traffic that would allow me to make commissions of $1397.13 (I found it odd that they could give me such an exact figure for commissions which are based on sales, making predicted income almost impossible) The package price for this business was $4750.00. The sales pitch from Gregory was mainly him asking me all kinds of questions about my financial assets and my debt load. After taking out $4750.00 from my retirement fund and doing a Wire Transfer of the funds, I got a call from my bank that the Wire Transfer didn't work because the bank routing number at North Point was incorrect. After several attempts to reach the customer service line, I finally got a call from customer service and told the number I had was incorrect. I re-sent the Wire on 4/28/2013 and then heard nothing until 5/1/2013 I received 3 checks totalling $524.00. On 5/4/2013 I received another call from Gregory giving the same type of speech as the first hard sell about how I could upgrade and get more traffic (thus more commission income) for an additional $7500.00 and when I told him I would think about it, he told me he would call back in a few days. I didn't hear from him after that. I also did not get another commission check or any other promised income or service. The mentoring never occurred, it was just a scam to get me to give them money. I have attempted on many occasions to call them, no response. I have emailed and requested a refund, no response. The only contact I have had recently was from a Sheri Smith who has called me weekly to make promises that she will find out why I have received no other funds, will contact accounting and have them look at what the problem might be, etc. etc. Nothing has been done and I have received no further income. I looked up the physical address that I have been given and from satellite images, this place looks like a compound in the middle of nowhere on a very busy highway. They have other addresses listed with the BBB and I suspect at least one of them is for the owner or a principle in the business. In addition, they are also Listed as the same principals in another business known as West Gate Media, LLC. Anyone interested in pursuing the refund option would do well to look at the Rip Off Report Website to find out how to pressure this business into giving back the money they have stolen. If everyone who has been ripped off by these people would start making a lot of noise, others would not fall prey to these sharks! In addition, if we really get loud some of us MIGHT get our money back. Good luck to all who have taken the bait!!
