On June 28, 2013 I ordered 1 bottle of Garcinia Cambogia from the company claiming to be Pure Garcinia Cambogia. The site indicated it was verified by VISA, it turned out, it was not. Right away I was feeling a little uneasy. However, what was done was done, and I received a confirmation email confirming my purchase that was inline with my order. The charge appeared my my credit card shortly there after as AUCTIONMASTERMINDS.COM FL

On, July 2, 2013 I received an additional email from the company indicating I had made an order of a FREE trial monthly totaling the cost $69.95 (US). A charge appeared on my pending transactions as AUCTIONTRAFFICSYSTEM.C OREM UT. Not only did I not order this, I did not authorize it and furthermore a free trial in and of it self can not cost anything.

Being skeptical of these sorts of things as it was, I was sure to read the terms and services before ordering and their site indicated in their terms and conditions:
"1 Month Supply for $59.99
2 Month Supply for $108.99 Plus 1 FREE Bottle
3 Month Supply for $159.95 Plus 2 FREE Bottles
You can select any of the above options on our order page. You will not be enrolled in any type of continuity program by ordering from this website."

In hoping this was just an error, I set out to contact the company.
I failed to reach the company by phone at the number they provided (888) 373-3911. They had an automated answering service that did not even state their company name. I also reached out by email to [email protected]

Not wanting to see if more charges would show up,I immediately reported the scenario to my financial institutions' claims department.

As per their instructions, I sent an email to the company to cancel any memberships fees/commitments/affiliations immediately with a request for a full refund in the amount of $75.81 (CAD) by July 19th, 2013 or their claims department will take action. Further more, if the originally ordered product is not received by July 14th, 2013, they too will take action.

At this point, the situation has not been rectified and I am awaiting the first of two dates until VISA will take action.

My hope of reporting this to ScamBook was that this would become more public knowledge and keep someone else from having the same problem.

  • This also happened to me! I also had the skeptical feeling, but also continued to approve the free trail. While on the phone they also asked me if I wanted to try the Colon Cleanse Max and I clearly said NO. When my email confirmations came there there were two, one for $2.95 (Garcinia Cambogia) and the other $3.95 (I'm assuming this was for the Colon Cleanse). This infuriated me right way, and I called their "customer service" number and was on hold for over 20mins until it hung up on me. I've been trying all day to get through, I'm still holding and waiting. I contacted my bank to dispute the charges and block any additional charges, if any should happen. I also emailed the [email protected] and requested to cancel everything. I did receive an email back from "Business Web Help Desk" and they responded with a ticket number and this "Our average response time is 24-48 hours Monday through Friday 9am-5pm EST. Sending multiple emails will slow this response time." We will see if they do anything further. I highly doubt it. Do NOT fall for this too!

  • I ordered Pure Garcinia Cambogia from a womans health advertorial that popped up on Facebook... the link took me to this website http://www.garciniacambogiaburn.com/ and I order the 3 bottle offer for US$109 on the 29th of June... I got an email 5th July saying that my product had been shipped and a dodgy tracking number which was just "shipped". it is now the 18th July and I emailed a couple of days ago (twice) and got the same automated reply twice saying the customer service representatives are not available to answer right now with a US number to call.... it says the number is invalid when I try and ring it.... NOT HAPPY!!! The website looked legitimate but the email is dodgy..... I'm going to try and get the transaction on my card reversed after reading that it's a scam :-(
