I purchased furniture through a local company here and WhyNotLeasingIt was the financing option I chose. It clearly states on my contract that my lease payments are schedule for $1225.00. WhyNotLeasingIt has debt my checking account for more than that amount. In my contract it gives you 3 options to continue leasing the furniture, pay it out, terminate the agreement. I contacted the company to terminate my lease because I was not going to pay an additional $655.00 for furniture I have already purchased. 1 couch $599. 1chair $349 and a area rug $158. I contacted the them over thirty days ago to terminate the lease. I was told by an agent she had to find a company to accept the furniture. I heard nothing else two weeks went by and my account was drafted again. I called again to ask to speak to manager and he told me that money would come out of my account for another thirty days and it is up to their discretion whether or not they were going to take the furniture back as if they could force me to continue to make payments. The manager then informed me to ship the furniture to them in Bedford, NH. I live in Memphis,TN which is where the purchase was made. I told him that could be arranged on their dime but according to my contract I‘m not obligated to pay for the return. This company is a rip off and take advantage of people with less than perfect credit. I wouldn't recommend them to my worse enemy. What companies like this should keep in mind is that people like myself is the reason why they have a job and the only place breeching your contact gets you is in a court room.
