Jul 3, 2013 Found boat on internet to buy. Being sold through a service called ubuy-autostore.com. Their website is full of testimonials, 10 day period to assure item works and you still want it, only pay 1/2 upfront and balance after 10 days if you keep item. Claim to be spoof proof, protect buyer and seller against scams, use numerous logos that assume support/endorsement for this business. (I now question the validity of those testimonials)
All went well and as to the website, at first. Got invoice via email, sent money to Danny Ayres 2525 N Pearl St Dallas Tx 75201 (told to send as moneygram to person, not for goods). Scanned and sent proof of moneygram transaction and received confirmation that boat was ready to be shipped within 3 days. So we waited.
Jul 5th we get an email of a PAST DUE notice and requirement to pay all costs upfront, due to a "Board of Directors" policy change. Claim they've been scammed by people giving bogus addresses.
I responded via email that you don't change policy in the middle of a transaction and I fully expect them to honor the policies set forth on their website. (If I sent the other 1/2, who knows if they would deliver the boat, the condition, etc) Emails went back and forth with no change in their position. There is no phone number to talk to anyone, the one listed for columbus oh is out of service and you can only email them or live chat. The two emails they use are Michael Rogers [email protected] and the other persons name was David Williams.(Finally I requested a refund and wrote a post about the challenges we are having with this company. I was told by company that they are practicing exactly what their platform was designed to fight.
We also see this exact same boat being listed on many sites and saying it is in various states: (FL, OH, GA, TX etc)

I have kept all the emails, live chat transcripts and printed out pages of the transaction details.
I still aware response as to my refund status.
