We hired Steve Stokes owner of Roof Masters to replace our roof siding and back patio. He sent us a quote and contract which we agreed to and signed. He showed up the next day with two workers and started to demo the patio. After an afternoon of work he asked for half of the fee in order to obtain materials and told us he would be back the next day to continue the work. We never saw him again. Upon further inspection, the address on the contract turned out to be fake and he has not returned any of our calls. We have since learned that he used a Florida license to cash the check and has been scamming people in other states. Do not hire him! If you do ask home for a quote please be kind enough to get his license plate number for us. He was driving a white truck.
