While using my Macbook, I got a prompt that my macbook is infected/has a virus and prompted me to buy Mac Shield for $98+ as a promo rate in June 2011. Today, while using my Macbook, i got a prompt from Mac Keeper that my 'trial period has expired' and so I was surprised with this because I thought all along that the MacKeeper is included in the Mac Shield package that I purchased via my credit card. So also, I tried searching for the Mac Shield in my MacBook but couldn't find it!
So are you guys able to help us all/everyone who was victimized by this scam? Thanks.
