I purchased on line via Visa Card Spybot Anti Virus Software valid for 3yrs.After my laptop got contaminated wih a virus I had to Format my hard disk and contacted Spybot for another copy of my spybot software.They informed me that they had no record of my purchase.After getting details thru my bank I realized this CON.
I googled Software 8 66-550-4161.
I realised that there were a lot of such complaints on this page.
I hope thru my this experience others on the Internet get wiser.

- This scam was not peretrated by Safer-Networking but by companies that 'sell' support for the free Spybot product. The address given here is the address of the legimate company not the scammers.
