I have had a T-Mobile phone and plan since 10/2012. I have had numerous problems with the phone and service that has been reported to T-Mobile. In June, I went to my local T-Mobile store and the rep replaced my SIM card which did nothing to resolve the issues with the phone and reception AND he wiped out all of my contacts that have been added over the last 6-8 months, AND I have NO service where I live yet the T-Mobile map shows that I should have 2G in my zip code. The map is what I relied upon when I renewed my monthly prepaid only to find that I have no service at all until I drive several miles. T-Mobile stated that they would replace my cell phone with an unlocked phone so that I can go to another provider, but cannot connect me with the representative that can process the transaction. In the past, the excuses were that no updates are available for this phone. Even my voicemais are not received and text messages do not include the actual phone number of the person texting, so I have no idea where they come from if they are not in my contacts list, which has shrunk since my visit to the local store.
