International boundaries

He saw my ad on craigslist and was very friendly via email. Would not give his phone number or reason for wanting to purchase my items. My intuition questioned this transaction from the very first email. No negotiation in price, wanted all items and wanted them immediately. He was very adamant about getting the stuff in the mail ASAP and even sent emails from "service@paypal" <[email protected]> saying that the $7,000 had been pulled from his account and would be deposited to my paypal account as soon as I put in the tracking number.

Luckily my intuition serves me well and I called paypal to verify the transaction BEFORE I sent the package. They said that any email would be from [email protected] and that is the ONLY email address they use. Also, if you are doing transactions through PayPal, the money WILL show up in your account as soon as they put the money in there, NOT after you put in a tracking number.
