I submit for online payday loan, was contact with email from Jake Hobbs Sr Loan Officer of Cash Advance America (he had a major indian accent), told me I had been approved for $1500 and was sending email (which I still have). Confirmed and signed by Daniel Grey CEO. So I signed and sent back.
After receipt he called and said all I have to do is prove to them I'd have the first initial payback amount so I needed up upload $270 to a vanilla reload card. I did.
He called back and said he wanted to be able to add my $270 to the original $1500 immediately so I needed to add $180 on another card so he could process. Again, I believed.
I checked my bank account for 24 hrs and kept getting promises.
Well, he finally told me he talked to his financial officers and my bank account was blocked and I had tax problems (something not everyone would know). So I needed to pay the govt taxes on the loan upfront, but the company would reimburse me they just won't fork over tax $ initially. So...I did it.
He then gave me Western Union pay # so I could go to a location and get my money. Well the number didn't work! I was at the location talking to him and he then said Western Union is charging $264 in fees because Im getting over $2000. I asked the clerk and she said they do only go up to $2000. So he told me if I paid the Western Union fees of $264 he would process $1500+270+180+465=2415.in two seperate payments so I could get via Western union but the $264 was non-reimburseable.
So I never got the $1500 loan and paid out $1179.
