My name is Patricia Santora of Hamden Ct. I received a pohone call
I got a call form W.I. on Nov10,2012 This is the beginning of the scam This company has taken from me $7,000.00 and I have nothing (to show for this money It was taken illlegally and they will give it back.
from Website Inovations ,above address, wanting to talk to me about
earning money ,as I waas an elderly senior,from home selling my
website to people and getting a profet from it. The website they set
up for me ,was, different stores like Macys ,Magazines,Lamps Plus,
Sketchers, Toshiba Direct , Etc. They, Website Inovationss , set
you up with a website store in which people view and purchace items
in which *I get a commisson ,I get a commission for anyone who looks
at the website and if they buy i get a hirer commission.They were suppossed to send a check once a month. It sounded like a good chance
to make money. So I said Yes, had to pay $115.00 They told me my boss
will call me mon Nov.12 2012. His name was Michael Rossington,/He did
call me and spent about 2 hrs on the phone.Then he started asking for credit card #s I asked what for and he said I had to pay for the website and the vendors it would be about $15,000.00 I told him its impossible I did not have that kind of money. He asked me if I had good credit . I said Yes. Big mistake ,on my part! he started asking me for my credit card numbers I Foolishley gave him a couple of #s
we were going back and forth for another 2 hrs we (he) settled for
$7,000.00 and I was going to get a package worth $15,000 It sounded
good so I sanid yes. That night I realized what a mistake I made,I
called immediately next AM. They , of course would not let me talk
to anyone in money management the person wasn't in he will call me tomorrow. Nov 14 Wed. I called they kept giving my calls to all
these different salespersons who refused to put me threw to the
proper dept. Each time I called I said I didnt want to go through with this they had recorded it to.I made it very clear that I didnt
waqnt to do this give me back my money! Called over and over to get put threwto the credit dept. to no advantage. By Friday they told me
the three days were up and I could not get my money back.I am 70 yrs
old and live on ss I cannot pay this and thet refuse to give me my
money back. Iwrote to the Attorney General of Az. and Connecticut
Attorney General the put it on file but seemes to be doing nothing.
This is my storey I wonder how many senior citizens they did thid too
