Unknown person or persons uased my home phone number to make calls up to $3000.00. I reported to at&t and Alhambra police Station.After investigation, the officer told me that it is identity theft.The officer told to discuss the issue with the official of at&t, but if the at&t refuses to resolve the matter, tha I should take case to the media because I should not pay the bills.I tried to resolve with at&t, but at&t insist that I pay the bills.
Ido not use my house phone except when I make international calls.
I am the only person living in the house.
I work from 6:00am to 5:00pm.
All calls made with house number wrer made during the day.
All calls made with the house number were within California.
I explained these fact to at&t to prove my case, that I did not make the call.
Now at&t has sent my name to cllection.I need your intervention in this matter.I am infuriated, disturbed and mentally drained. I will pay hundred dollars ($100.00) or the cost.
