I applied for loan on line to a company called Quick quid sometime in June 2011, i received the loan i applied for but on the above mentioned date £67.70 was taken withdrawn from my bank account by a company called EMP power loans, another company called Yes loan also withdrew £67.70 from my savings account. I reported the two incidents to my Bank who said that they were unable to help me but they supplied me with the contact details of the the two companies involved, I tried to make contact with the companies through the telephone numbers supplied by my Bank Barclays bank PLC and was told by the person on the other side line that I would have to write them to get my money returned, I wrote to the first company Yes Loans in August this year who promise to return my money by cheque and to this date I have not received the cheque. In relation to EMP power loans I was told the same thing. I am now convinced that these are both scams and that my bank details were obtained by fraudulant means.

I am convinced that my bank could have done something to help me recover both of the payments taken from my account as I know someone who suffered the same scam as i did and his Bank HSBC returned the money taken from his account. I am asking you to give me some advice on how to get my money back and how to protect myself from this happening again as my bank have not been very helpful.
