We finally decided to get our vents and ducts in the house cleaned professionally.
A coupon from Ace Duct Cleaning company came in the mail advertising "ultimate" package with a lot of services for $89.00. We made an appointment for Thursday, May 29th We had 2 technicians in our house for a bit more than one hour and within this short time the bill grew from $89.00 to a whopping $1030.00. This is outrageous practices of misleading and ripping of consumers. I understood that there could be
some additional charges maybe because of the size of my house or whatever they could claim, but to charge $1030.00!!!!! for an hour worth of work is a big scam. When I called the company they were very arrogant and insisted that the charges were justified. Please be aware of the Ace Duct Cleaning Company practices and stay away from them.. Do not hire them to clean your ducts and do not believe their advertising.
Now I know why they call themselves "the green company" They do make a lot of 'green" by scamming unsuspecting consumers.
