I filed for divorce and they wanted the money up front, but after almost a year there has been no action beyond sending the papers to my husband.
Secondly, they lied to me and told me my husband could get half my inheritance, and that he was "trying to revoke my citizenship" and so on. They conned me into signing my life savings over to them for an annuity, and after four months, they stopped paying the annuity. That was two and nearly three months ago, and I'm currently homeless. Furthermore, there appears to be something shifty about the "investment" because every time I ask for documentation, I never get it. Also, the four checks I got at the beginning all came from different sources, implying that the law firm is pretending to be an investment company. The office manager constantly tells me she's busy and hangs up on me when I ask for information.
