In January I pulled up free people search and got Intelius. I was given a form to fill out. The add read, For 14 days at $9.99 you can get blabablaba information. I just needed my aunts phone number and that's it. I joined and it didn't have her phone number, so I cancelled and they accepted.
On my bank statements, since February when I got the card was Int*Intelius $19.99 twice. I thought that that ment it was a bank charge. Today the bank says it's not them and I called the number.
Talked to a man and he said I signed up for idenity protection and people backround search.
I did no such thing! He say he would only reemberse me for 19.99 and take me off their membership list. I want the rest of my money back. Come on can they really do this legally?
