Please beware of a Michael Wilhelm. He says he lives in NY, but travels places for his business. We met at an online dating website (Singles-net); we communicated via email for a week. The next week we graduated to IM, per his request. He sent me love emails daily, and occasionally he skipped a day or two before emailing me. Within 2 weeks, after numerous daily conversations, he said he loved me, and sent me a bouquet of roses, chocolate, and a teddy bear as surprise...The gesture was nice, until that very evening, he asked me for $1,550.00. He said he needed this sum in order to finalize his business deal. I asked that he take his stupid roses back...I felt an hunch in the back of my mind...who says the L word with days of meeting someone...and the M word after he asked for a large sum of money.... I asked that he stop calling, and he kept on trying to convince me that he is for real. And that if I was in his shoes; he would help me. I also made a complaint against him to the dating website, and cancelled my subscription for good.
