FORD DEALER INSTALLED USED PARTS!!!
They installed a used timing chain on my Lincoln LS and told me it was a new timing chain. They supposedly replaced the guides and tensioners. I told them NOT to use ANY used part; new timing chain, gears, tensioner, guides, water pump, belts, etc.
The Ford Dealer charged me over $3,000 service charge and took the car back to them in 2 days as car barely ran after their work and engine was tapping. They tore down the engine a second time and said, "Oh, the tensioner was bad." Bull! The tensioner was USED and they had charged me hundreds for new ones! And the used timing chain lasted about 3 weeks (it was parked at the airport almost the entire time). It really only lasted 4 days of use. They've re-done the work 3 times now! $3,000 to be defrauded by a Ford dealer!
Ford dealer RIPOFF!! Is this how Ford wants its dealer to run their business?
