My son purchased a Emerson 26 inch TV for my Mother's Day gift. He began to hook it up and ran into a problem. He felt comfortable using your help line. Big mistake. I had to finish the call as he was told by our customer service representative that " a refurbished " set would be sent in 3-5 weeks and I took the phone at this point. The cll ended very shortly with the fact that we no longer needed his services. You need to review your customer representative center employees with a reasonable solution. The Tv was less than 72 hours old and he should have been advising the customer to return it o the store. I will never purchase a TV made by this company ever again. I am also writing to consumer reports and the BBB. I can say I learned something today. Never trust this support line number 1-866-309-8819. It is disturbing to know the person behind this call gets paid to do this to people.
