eteacher is a online language course that sets you up with teachers around the world. I signed up to learn Hebrew, but I was concerned I still wouldn't have time. Their sale representative assured me that I could personalize my lessons to fit to my weekly needs, so that I wouldn't waste emy money. SO I paid their upfront payment, with hopes to begin the course. It was nothing like I had hoped, I only got to take one course and after the teachers weren't available on days and time I was. It was a waste of money, just like I thought it would be. They didn't keep their word, I contacted them about canceling because of this, There was no way I was going to finish paying 1000 plus dollars for services that were NOT being rendered. The eteacher gentlemen told me I could put my account on a freeze up to six months (not making payments) so I wouldn't have to pay until I found more free time to take courses. I decided to give them another shot. Later that month I got fraudulent charges on my card, so I cancelled the card-- Only to get contacted by eteacher through email threatening to take LEGAL ACTION if I didn't make payments????!! MY ACCOUNT WAS FROZEN? I Replied to them restating my case and issues. I got NO response. Since their threats I have sent 6 emails, they have responded to ZERO. They are thieves not teachers, all they care about is money, this is by far the most ridiculously awful service I have ever received.
