I received an e-mail from Angie Sister Modeling Agency and Photo Studio requesting to buy AVON products. I immediately became suspicious when I had advised Angie Melo to order from my website in a previous e-mail and in this e-mail she is requesting me to order products and have a crew member pick up the items or meet me at a strategic point and will send me the payment after I send her all of my personal information. (NO WAY!) The e-mail address that was used was [email protected]. NEVER give anyone your personal information in an e-mail espcially when you have a website that they can order from.

I, unfortunately, fell for this scam because of the conversing back and forth that they do. It wasn't until AFTER i gave them my address that I got a second email identical to the first but a different "agency" that I got suspicious. They sent me a "check" for almost $2000 and asked if I would forward the rest of the money for their airline tickets because there was a mixup with the check. Fortunately I didn't deposit the check! I think that's the whole thing. THey want you to deposit a bogus check so they can gain access to your account! Scary! Bummed that I fell for it but thankful that I didn't go any farther than just my address and name, and feeling like a complete idiotic fool... Praying that nothing more comes of this whole debacle. I'll definitely be keeping a very close eye on all of my accounts!

- Emily, Was the other e-mail you received from [email protected]? If so, it appears to be the same. I have e-mailed them back and told them that I know this is a scam. I work in a field where I have been trained to watch out for these types of scams. I hope that others realize it before they get away with obtaining personal information and causing hardships for hard-working individuals. God Bless!
