Debited my account 30 dollars. Called my bank. To stop payment, $28. My bank also said that Funding Assurance would resubmit it more likely, with a penny less, so it goes thru again. I called the number 866-761-1124 listed on the debit line. I actually got thru to someone to talk to. They said they are a 3rd member loan assurance company. I said that I have done 3 steps. Called my bank first, called Funding Assurance second and if you dont satisfy me with some answers, I will be calling the police department third. So, supposedly she gave me a refund, which will take 3-7 days. I got what is suppose to be a confirmation number. We will see what happens. If you fill out any type of payday loan paperwork, pawn paperwork etc.... they somehow get involved. They also had a email address, but I wasnt about to go that route. Good luck to all who have been scammed. I hope to see $30 back, but wont be holding my breath. Thank goodness this is my expense account, so closing it would be fairly simple and take away the chance of this happening again.
