I ordered 2 sets each of the 25 foot "Flexable Hose" and 75 foot "Flexable Hose" and upgraded to the more tougher models. There was no price indicated for the upgrades. Considering the already low price, I figured that the upgrade price might be 25% more for each hose. After I finished the transaction on the phone, I looked online to determine what the final charge would be, including shipping. I was alarmed that they had charged $71.82 for shipping alone! For the hoses, they had charged $159.72, which is right at the 25% markup I had anticipated. Based on these prices, I would have thought that they would last a relatively long time, ie, 4-5 years at the outside.
The very first time I attached one of the 75 foot hoses, with the included nozzle, the fabric that covered the surgical hose-like latex hose nudged out of the plastic end of the hose exposing the inner tubing. Without the fabric to encase the rubber tubing it rapidly ballooned and exploded. Not impressive. I had attached a 25 foot hose for my wife to enjoy as she watered her flowers. She had a similar event occur to her hose. We are upset that this company hasn't the quality control to even verify that the components they ship out are usable. These hoses are NOT well built to survive any length of use. We had hoped that these hoses would be a benefit to water our home gardens and to take with us as we travel. We have not attached the other hoses yet.
Upon contacting the Customer Service Dept, I was informed that they would immediately send out replacement hoses and a replacement nozzle that had cracked. They are also going to send a return prepaid shipping label to use to ship the damaged equipment back to them. Maybe they'll reattach the hoses to their plastic ends and resell them to someone. Don't know.
In any case, these are not worth the money. I will go to Sears Roebuck and purchase Craftsman rubber hoses for the same amount of money that will last for many years of use.
All this is a personal experience and my recommendations to forgo a purchase are my own. However, just consider my suggestions.
