Person calls us saying my Grandson is visiting Niagara,Canada and got into an accident and he is in jail, because he did not pass a breath test. He needs 975.00 to get out in 24 hrs. My grandson gets on the phone and it sounds like him. The person that calls is suppose to be an attorney giving us instructions on sending the money. We send the money and find out it was a scam. The person gave their name as Eric McCarthy and told us to send it to the office in Amanda thompson. It was odd in that the address was just to Niagara Fall, Canada. No numbers. Like it was automatically to the Courts.
