I have an Insightcards.com pre-paid Visa. I (load) the card with funds, i.e. paycheck into cash and onto the card for a fee of $2.00.
On Monday 5-6-13 I went to Chase bank to open up a checking account to get off of this card and all of it's fees Insight charges me. Better just open a checking account. I had the Chase bank teller "swipe" the insight Visa card so that the funds could be transfered into this new checking account. Well it didn't go through so the teller told me to go out to their ATM machine and withdraw the funds and bring it in to her but the transaction at the ATM was denied 3 (three) times each time charging me a fee by Chase bank and Insightcards totaling $7.00 even though I received no money out of the ATM. I tried to withdraw $180.00 the first time to no avail and then a second time requesting $160.00 to no avail as well.
Insight is now telling me that I DID withdraw $180.00 plus their $3.00 fee totaling $183.00 ! After talking to Insight "Live" agent(s) several times, $1.00 charge each time mind you, asking them to help me to understand what's going on, they (Insight)tell me that I have to file a Dispute/Resolution form to initiate an investigation into this matter and it could take up to 45 days for any resolution ? They (Insight), are holding my money "hostage" ! I'm looking for my $180.00, that's all, so that I can open my checking account. Please help me.
Update: 06/06/2013
I now have received my money of $180.00
