Checked my bank account online and found this unauthorized charge listed as pending. Since bank is closed over weekend I can't talk to anyone there and must speak to bank personnel to accomplish anything concerning check cards. stopped checks cost a fee of $36; but as yet I don't know about charges to a check card or debit card. There are lots of complaints online about this company's practices. Calling them is long distance and costs money, then I may never get money refunded to bank account. If fee to stop payment is over the charges, that also costs more money than to just give up. In that case I will either change bank accounts or card numbers to prevent further charges. If you do the same, don't forget to notify utilities or others that automatically charge your payment monthly so those bill will get paid.

- I tried using the follow up button at right to update my complaint; but nothing got posted that way so I am putting the information here. My check card is a Visa and their agreement with my bank required me to call the merchant before the bank could accept my fraud report and do their investigation. I called Intellectsport and talked to "Daniel" who said I had ordered a package of fish hooks. After telling him I had not ordered anything and wanted my money credited back to my account, he said he would do so within 3 business days. The money was credited back when the bank ran their business reports on Tuesday night. Now I have my money back; but since my card has been compromised I will have to cancel my check card and get a new one. Then I will have to notify everyone I do business with using that card that I have a new card before they try taking payments and other recurring charges from my account using that card. Intellectsport had all correct information for my card except for the 3 digit code on the back so they had no problem processing the charges. I would love to know where or how they collected this information. They have too many complaints against them and the charge was too small for me to think someone was actually ordering something using my card info. This is a lot of hassle; but things could certainly have been worse. Good luck to others who have been hit with charges from Intellectsport.
