Contacted through LavaLife On Line Dating by Stanley Wright. Said he lived in Victoria, British Columbia. Under the name RIVERSMILES2013. Started talking then Skyping with him. Did this From March 18, 2013 until on the 26th of April, he told me he had to go to Accra, Ghana on business trip, possed as a Petroleum Engineer and asked me to send him an Apple I Pad as he really needed it for his work in Ghana and did not have an opportunity to pick one up. I - being the idiot I am, although I had a strong feeling that it was a con - did pick one up and sent it by Purolator to the above address in Accra, Ghana.
He has been calling me and chatting on line since he arrived there, suposedly on April 27th. faithfully and I have been tracking the shipment which is to arrive there Friday, May 3rd, however, showing a delivery date of Monday, May 6th. Today, I tried to stop the delivery through Purolator and UPS Ref #1-2747669727 so they have requested the stop but I will not know if it is going to get stopped for a couple of days, probably.
He gave me another name to put on the shipping label Daniel Kwakye
Can you do anything to help me with this. The man should not get away with it. The number that shows up on my phone from Ghana when he calls me is 1-320-959-8680
I tracked down the country code and tried the following number and get a busy signal.
